Loop Preliminary Pump Station and Pipeline Design
Description
Loop Water Authority has engaged Burns and McDonnell to assist in the design of approximately 28 miles of a 24-inch diameter transmission pipeline and up to five pump stations. This transmission line will convey maximum 4.0 MGD from the Advanced Water Treatment Plant that is currently in design at Callahan Reservoir. The transmission line will bring water to three different entities, the Town of Monument, Donala Water and Sanitation District, and Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District No.1. This project will be within El Paso County. This project is still currently in the preliminary design phase and alignments for the pipeline are still being set. The above parcels coincide with the current alignment assumption but are subject to change.
Location
The pipeline will begin at Callahan Reservoir and continue North through El Paso County with terminus points serving Woodmoor, Donala, and Monument, ultimately finishing at the intersection of Higby Road and Jackson Creek Pkwy in the town of Monument.
