Black Forest Fire Protection District
8/21/2026 10:00:29 PM
1 Black Forest Fire Rescue Protection District (BFFRPD) has reviewed the proposed Timbers at Black Forest rezoning and concurrent subdivision request.

BFFRPD has no objection to the proposed rezoning at this time. However, approval of the subdivision and future development will require compliance with all applicable fire protection requirements, including approved fire apparatus access, emergency vehicle turnarounds, and an approved fire water supply plan acceptable to BFFRPD.

The proposed use of individual domestic wells does not, by itself, establish an approved fire protection water supply. Fire protection water supply must be specifically addressed and approved by BFFRPD during the subdivision review process.

All new residential construction shall also comply with the applicable Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code (CWRC) requirements and required BFFRPD inspections.

Final fire protection requirements shall be reviewed with the subdivision, construction drawings, and associated fire protection/water supply plans.
