Before land disturbance a pre-construction meeting is required to be scheduled with Brad Walters, bradwalters@elpasoco.com, inspection fees and any collateral is due at that meeting.

Prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, all landscaping, parking stripping, and other improvements are required to be installed and completed.

This can affect the access point and ultimately a relocation of the driveway and new submittal for several other documents to show a new layout of not resolved. Hazardous and Solid Waste
The facility as proposed must register as an industrial recycling facility and would be regulated under Section 8 of the Colorado solid waste regulations. The facility must notify the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division prior to beginning operations at the site. The industrial recycling registeration form can be found on the Department website at https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdphe/sw-recycling-forms-apps. Proposed changes to Detention Maintenance Agreement are attached. Please review carefully. If changes are acceptable, please accept them in the document, fill out the number of detention basin/BMPs in the highlighted areas, complete the signature blocks, and return a final draft for review.

Because applicant is leasing the property, the property owners must also sign the agreement. The Tract 6 owner must sign to grant the County an easement to access the property in order to reach the detention pond. The Tract 10 owners must sign to grant the County an easement for access and to perform work in the event the County must repair the pond. The Tract 10 owners must also agree to maintain and repair the pond in the event the applicant fails to do so or no longer occupies the property.
