Project consists of: - Rebuild of existing 115 kV transmission line to a double-circuit 230 kV and 115 kV line. - Existing wood poles to be replaced with steel poles (larger pole diameter, drilled pier foundations) - Existing alignment to be maintained. - Existing pole locations to be maintained, although new poles will be offset a few feet from the existing so as to not disrupt service. - Some land disturbance due to larger footprint of individual poles, potential during construction.
