1. Per PPRBD policy (see #3 below), the stand alone office building will need plans submitted for permit. Please use the parcel address when submitting plans. 2. All other shipping containers will not require a permit. No permit is required if the shipping container is to be used for the originally intended purpose of unheated storage/stacked storage. 3. Shipping Container Policy: A building permit shall be required if the Shipping Container is to be re-purposed for a use other than unheated storage / stacked storage. The re-purposed Shipping Container must be modified to conform to all applicable portions of the Pikes Peak Regional Building Code and Codes adopted by reference, dependent upon the proposed use. A permit is also required to install or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing system regulated by the Pikes Peak Regional Building Code.
