2 El Paso County Parks Department. The 2022 El Paso County Parks Master Plans shows this project heavily impacting the New Santa Fe Regional Trail within the U.S. Air Force Academy, as the trail will be used to access the construction site throughout the project. CSU has been in continual communication with EPC Parks throughout the planning phase of this project, and EPC Parks is fully aware of the impacts, which will include detours and full trail closures for a number of months in late 2026/early 2027. CSU and EPC Parks will coordinate public notices prior to trail closures and will work together during the trail restoration phase of the project. 5/13/2026 10:54:23 AM
