Project Name
Walden Water and Sanitation District Wastewater Plant Replacement
Description
The facility's existing service area is a residential community of 381 homes and a buildout capacity of 520 homes, and two schools, Kilmer Elementary and the Monument Academy East Campus. The average 30-day monthly flows range between 32,000 gallons per day (GPD) and 76,000 GPD and are consistently below the 0.11 million gallons per day (MGD) maximum month average day flow (MMADF) allowed in Walden’s current groundwater discharge permit. WSD is proposing to replace the existing wastewater treatment plant (again, a sequencing batch reactor plant) with a membrane bioreactor (MBR), which is a package plant.

1 The new building is has industrial architecture in a residential setting. Minimal screening is proposed. Is there the ability to make the building compatible with the residential development surrounding it? It may be viewable from the residences to the east and north (Walker Road) adj properties. 1/29/2026 4:32:07 PM

1 Merge the site development Plan and pdf labeled drawing set please, so it's one complete cohesive site development plan set labeled site development plan that meets the checklists. Provide an index on the site development plan. If you would like to include the grading plan in the site dev plan set as is common, I can remove the line item as a standalone in EDARP. 1/29/2026 3:42:26 PM

1 Please add all the missing site development plan checklist items for the parcels the facility is located on. Many items are missing. You will likely have more than one sheet as is typical with a commercial project.
