Fire Safety and Wildfire Mitigation Program comments: A Wildland Fire and Hazard Mitigation Plan is required at this phase of the submittal. The fire protection report is to provide the fire district (Ellicott), adopted fire code (2015 International Fire Code), fire intensity level (Moderate), existing and proposed new water supplies with required calculations, minimum road widths allowed per the Engineering Development Code and the adopted fire code, an analysis of compliance with the LDC and applicable fire codes. The Wildland Fire and Hazard Mitigation Plan shall be authored by a qualified professional and include fire intensity, slope, vegetation inventory, forestry and/or plant health issues, purposed mitigation methods and standards, and how the mitigation methods and standards will be carried out in continuum for the life of the development.
