NOTE: Staff has reached out to City of Colorado Springs for comment regarding the annexation of Air Lane. Their comments, if any, are pending.

See Engineering comments for Road Impact Fee calculation. Since there is no building permit being pulled in association with this project, this fee will need to be paid prior to the approval of this Site Development Plan. This can be paid with the staff at the front desk of Planning and Community Development with a credit card or check. It cannot be paid over the phone.

1 The Cimarron Hills Fire Department (CHFD) has reviewed the site development plan submitted by APEX Waste Solutions to pave a formal parking area for employees of the business as well as storage for approximately 30 garbage trucks. The site layout includes a fuel island that must comply NFPA 30 (Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code) and NFPA 30A (Code for Motor Fuel Dispensing Facilities and Repair Garages) at 560-570 Air Lane. CHFD would like to discuss the secondary containment requirements for an AST/UST per NFPA 30 & 30A that are essential for managing spills, leaks, and fire hazards. As well as whether a site plan has been submitted to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Division of Oil and Public Safety Compliance Section for the proposed fuel island.
