EPC DPW Stormwater

After reviewing the submitted documents it appears there will be over an acre of disturbance with this project. This means that a stormwater permit (ESQCP) is required. If it can be proven that the project will remain under an acre of disturbance, then an ESQCP will no longer be required. It also appears that the development proposed with this site also puts the property at over 1 acre of added imperviousness/disturbance (Asphalt, buildings, compacted gravel, etc.) since 2008, which means a Permanent Control Measure (i.e. extended detention basin, sand filter basin, etc.) may be required. Document disturbed area and any applicable exclusions in the PCM Applicability form to see if a PCM is required. Given the lack of documentation, the decision to ask for an ESQCP was made with some uncertainty. Once a Drainage Letter and Site Development Plan are submitted I will have a more accurate idea of what will be required. I would recommend we call before next submittal. See El Paso County's stormwater site for more details: https://publicworks.elpasoco.com/stormwater/ Please provide the following document(s) upon resubmittal (the planner will need to send an upload request): - Drainage Letter (Required regardless of an ESQCP) - ESQCP Form - FAE Form - GEC Plan - GEC Checklist - PCM Applicability Form - SWMP - SWMP Checklist PCM Docs (Required if a PCM is needed) - PCM O&M Manual - PCM Maintenance Agreement - PCM - MHFD Detention Calcs or SDI Form Reviewed by: Zachary Jannusch Associate Engineer - Stormwater 719.500.3170 ZacharyJannusch@elpasoco.com |

Project type will change from a COM to a PPR due to the fact that there is no previous PPR on file. The project will still be an administrative review. The planning department has comments on the following documents: V1 Site Development Plan V1 Letter of Intent Comments in green are from planner, comments in blue are from engineering. |
