Ellicott Fire Protection District
7/1/2026 2:01:21 PM |
1 | All structures require water for fire protection per the El Paso County Land Development Code. No proposal of water or documentation of existing water supply has been provided. The El Paso County Planning Department has, often, not required water for fire protection on similar projects. Ellicott Fire is disapproving of any construction without knowing if El Paso County Planning intends to follow their adopted code in relation to water for fire protection. Per the El Paso County Land Development Code this additional dwelling unit would add 3,000 gallons to the existing water requirement for the property. Is the El Paso County Planning Department intending on collecting financial assurance for the required water supply for this project? | 7/1/2026 2:01:21 PM | |
