EPC Parks Department
5/21/2025 3:22:53 PM |
El Paso County Parks Department. EPC Parks staff has reviewed the Wilshire Metropolitan District Nos. 1-2 application and service plan and found that the proposed district does not impact any proposed or existing EPC Parks trails, parks, or open space. The Wilshire development is served by a centrally located neighborhood park that was constructed under the guidelines of the Wilshire Filing Nos. 2 and 3 Park Lands Agreements, approved by the Board of County Commissioners in 2014. The current metropolitan district application does not mention the inclusion of neighborhood parks or trails, so it is assumed the aforementioned neighborhood park will also serve the new areas of development. EPC Parks staff has no objection to the formation of this Metropolitan District and will review forthcoming preliminary plans and final plats as they are submitted. Thank you! | 5/21/2025 3:22:53 PM |
