The letter of intent mentions that the area or work for this project is being re-platted. What is the name of this plat? The current addressing scheme may not be appropriate as a result of the replat. Once addressing has been established for the new plat, whatever address has been assigned as part of the platting process should be used when submitting building plans for permitting. EDRD has the following comment: Marksheffel Blvd is controlled by The City of Colorado Springs and the proposed development is required to install public sidewalk/trial and asphalt (if necessary) along Marksheffel adjacent to the site. The sidewalk/trail will be detached from the curb and the sidewalk width will be 10 feet. Update the development site plan to show and callout these public ROW improvements. A street improvement construction plan and financial assurance are required for the new sidewalk/Trail and asphalt (if necessary). The construction plan shall be submitted for review and approval to Engineering Development Review Division (EDRD) and Traffic Engineering via our electronic review system called ProjectDox. A user manual for submitting documents can be found on the Stormwater Enterprise web page. (https://coloradosprings.gov/stormwater/planreview?mlid=49646.) The financial assurance shall be posted with the City prior to the approval of the construction plans. The concrete installation with in Marksheffel Blvd right-of-way requires the contractor to have a City of Colorado Springs concrete license, concrete permits and inspected by the EDRD inspection team.
