Fountain Mutual Irrigation Co. (FMIC) does not appear to be affected directly by any of the proposed Single, Multiple or Special District Plans or Policies as presented unless the FMIC canal is affected or lies within one of these Districts and needs to be addressed for either relocation or enclosure by the District. The Town of Monument has no objection to the proposed amendments but would request that the Town is included in the models similarly to Colorado Springs: Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Districts are prohibited from including additional property within the Districts’ boundaries if the property is within the corporate limits of the City of Colorado Springs without express prior consent of the City of Colorado Springs City Council. |
