The Traffic comments for the CRCC Orton Borrow Pit are modified as follows: Section 2.14(4) of the SHAC indicates the following: A public highway reconstruction project is not required to bring legal access into full compliance with the current Code standards. The access point will be used temporarily for a total of approximately 40 day over the life of the project ( 2 years) A left turn acceleration lane at the access point is required per the applicant's submission; detail provided in the application. The acceleration lane can be installed using existing pavement and therefore is minimal cost to the project. The MHT for the access point will be revised to include an advisory speed limit of 45 mph under the TRUCK ENTERING sign. A NO LEFT TURN sign is also required for the NB SH115 movement to prohibit left turn into the access from occurring. Please let me know if you have any questions. |

Please show limit of disturbance lines on the site plan so that adj prop owners can be assured setbacks will be met. ; show access points to pit, and parking area of pit. Is there a loading or laydown area? or temp lighting (provide detail and locations) ? This will also be uploaded as temp use site plan with the letter of intent. |
