• CDOT staff does not have any comments regarding the rezoning of this development.
• A CDOT Access Permit will be required for this development.
• No direct access to SH24 will be allowed.
• Access to the site will be required to share a connection of the Access Control Plans frontage road connection.
• Falcon Hwy and SH24G roadway improvements may be required.
• The SH24G Access Control Plan requires the development of a Frontage Road at this location, the frontage road is planned to run perpendicular to SH24G. Connection of the Frontage Road is to be made at the proposed access point to the site.
• Realignment of Falcon Highway is to take place with future development in this area to make connection to Dublin Rd./Tamlin Rd. to the west.
• The Existing alignment of Falcon Hwy with the curve is to be closed.
• NB SH24 to EB Falcon Hwy will require roadway widening to accommodate an acceleration lane and will be required to accommodate the merging distance for the merging traffic to the through lane or a combo collector distributor lane for this movement to the Frontage Road connection south or to the site right turn lane.
• Roadway restriping will be required.
• Future CDOT roadway widening is in the design phase for SH24 to four lanes.
