1. the proposed light poles exceed the maximum height of a light pole allowed in Section 6.2.3: No freestanding light fixtures shall be mounted higher than 15 feet, except parking lot light fixtures which shall be mounted no higher than 20 feet unless an alternative lighting proposal is approved in accordance with this Code. Staff suggests the applicant include a request for alternative lighting in the letter of intent so that the PCD Director may approve the request as part of the overall site development plan. 2. the proposed landscaping does not meet the requirements of the LDC. Staff suggests adding a request for an alternative landscape plan to the letter of intent. Additional redlines and comments will be provided upon completion of the PCD engineering division review. |
