Falcon Fire reviewed this application for a Variance of Use request only. This is not a site development plan or water plan review. For the existing buildings to be used for commercial use the Fire Department will rely on approval of those structures for the proposed use by the normal regional building approval process. Falcon Fire Department through MOU contracts with Colorado Springs Fire Prevention for commercial structure review during the regional building process. If structures are approved for the proposed commercial use, the development plan is approved and fire flow water requirements or an acceptable alternative to those requirements can be achieved, Falcon Fire is not apposed to this variance request.
