Per LDC, you are requesting consideration by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for an accessory living quarters greater than 1,500 sq. ft. You are within the 20% allowance, which would potentially allow up to 1,800 sq. ft. with BOCC approval. The Planning Commission (PC) makes a formal recommendation to the BOCC on these matters. Since there are no further comments at this time, and following the application submittal deadline of August 11th, the project will be placed on the Planning Commission agenda for consideration on SEPTEMBER 17TH, 2020. 8/7/2020 9:20:11 AM

Regarding a request for approval of a special use to allow a second residence at 12930 Herring Rd., Enumerations has the following comments:

1. The proposed residence will require an address separate from the existing residence. Since this is intended for family use only, this residence can use the address of 12930B Herring Rd., thereby designating it as a family use, or, if the applicant wants, it can be assigned a unique address to distinguish it from the main residence. Whatever route the applicant chooses, the chosen address should be used when submitting building plans for review/permit.
