Description

The project proposes to construct a 35 megawatt solar farm facility on 270 acres of private land located southwest of the Town of Calhan, Colorado. Electricity generated by the project will interconnect into the Golden West Wind project substation via a 1-mile underground collection line, delivering power to Colorado Springs Utilities via an existing 29-mile generation tie line to the Jackson Fuller Substation. Location South of Washington Road, approximately 0.5 mile west of the intersection of Washington Road and Currier Road, Calhan, CO 80808
