Black Forest Land Use Committee

The Black Forest Land Use Committee has reviewed this project extensively. We have had meetings and tours at the property and have seen firsthand what the plans are for its development.

The Land Use Committee believes this project is in keeping with the rural atmosphere of the forest and would be a useful and unique way to use this property. If developed we wish the applicants every success in the endeavor.

The Land Use Committee recommends approval of the Variance of Use.

Regarding a request for approval of a use variance for the Shire at Old Ranch, Enumerations has the following comments:

1. Since this plan appears to be a commercial use, any structures built as part of this development which will require a building permit will also require separate addresses. The applicant should submit a copy of the proposed development to Enumerations so that a comprehensive addressing plan can be established.
2. There does not appear to be any plans to re-plat these lots into a single lot or to remove the existing residences from any of these parcels. Verify the intent in this regard.
