Letter of Intent: Specify how many potential carriers the tower will accommodate in the letter of intent.

Site Plan: On the Site Development plan, the PCD file number should be PPR-19-031. On the Special Use Site Plan Exhibit, the PCD File number should be AL-19-021. Please revise.

Site Plan: Please find out if the FAA will require lighting for this tower. If not, please revise the site data to reflect that the tower will not be lit.

Site Plan: Revise the site plan to reflect the actual size of the proposed microwave antennae. This will have to match what you turn in for building permit and we have to have the actual size on the plans.

The site plan reflects acreage of 624.18. The letter of intent reflects 937 acres. Please address this discrepancy so both are consistent.

For the Site Plan application add PCD File Number to the Site Plan Coversheet: PCD File Number: PPR-19-031

Project Description section on the coversheet of the site plan: Indicate whether or not the tower will have lighting.

On the site plan (upper drawing on sheet 1) please provide a note indicating the distance to the nearest residential use from the proposed tower location. The Land Development Code sets forth setbacks for the tower in accordance to the distance from nearby residential uses and/or zoning districts.

Label the diameter of the proposed Microwave Antennae. Per Land Development Code, microwave antennae cannot exceed 4' diameter.

Provide a detail for the perimeter fencing of the lease area. Note that the Land Development Code requires that all accessory equipment shall be 100% screened from view. All equipment shelters shall be located within the lease area for the tower. No equipment storage shelter shall exceed 15 feet in heights. Equipment storage shelters shall be grouped as closely together as practical, so as to minimize impact on adjoining properties. We will be looking for fencing that provides 100% screening for the ground level accessory equipment and equipment shelter enclosures that do not exceed 15 feet in height.

Engineering has the following comments:
-In the letter of intent, discuss the anticipated traffic generated by the proposed tower.
-A driveway access permit must be obtained for the proposed access onto Goldfield Road.

Staff recommends utilizing appropriate erosion and Stormwater control measures during construction to prevent sediment runoff offsite.

Regarding a request for approval of a development plan for a stealth cell tower installation, Enumerations has the following comments:

1. The applicant should provide a detailed site plan of this location to Enumerations for addressing purposes. The new tower will be assigned an address, and the first carrier to attach to the tower will use this address for their installation. Subsequent carriers will need to contact Enumerations to establish separate addresses for their installations prior to submitting plans for review/permit.


Floodplain has no comment or objection based on the location of this installation shown on the site plan provided.
