At the regular monthly meeting of the Lewis-Palmer School District Board of Education on May 20, 2019, the Board members considered the rezoning request regarding the development of 48-single family lots on the 151-acre Grandwood subdivision located at the northeast corner of Higby Road and Fairplay Drive.
The Board of Education voted to allow the administration and its consultant to continue to work with Home Place Ranch to determine land needs for the school site already agreed upon with the Town of Monument and Home Place Ranch developers. In addition, the school district does request cash in-lieu-of land funding for any additional amounts due the school district.
