Sundance - Special Use Conditions Modifications
Description
The Quikrete Companies (DBA Monarch Mountain Minerals and Aggregates, LLC) proposes to mine sand and gravel on the parcels owned by Sundance Investments. The sand and gravel extracted would be primarily for internal use at our Pavestone and Best Block plants in Fountain and Pueblo. There is an active DRMS reclamation permit associated with the property and there is a current, but soon to expire, approved special use for mining granted by the EPC Board of County Commissioners. Quikrete and Sundance would like to extend as well as amend and/or clarify some of the conditions outlined by the special use approval.
