A driveway access permit is required to be obtained for each access location to the public roadway. Driveway permit applications can be submitted to the front desk of Planning and Community Development.

On the submitted site plan, put a north arrow and show all adjacent property owners/addresses.

Site Development Plan
1. Please use the site plan on file for the special use as the base for the site development plan drawing. The drawing as submitted does not appear to be accurate and a complete depiction of the property.
2. Additional detail should be added to include the parking area and number of available parking spaces, any fencing area, legal description, detail for any run/field/kennel area, etc.
3. Please show an ADA route. The following note should be added to all site development plans or non-residential site plans, as applicable, prior to PCD approval:
The parties responsible for this plan have familiarized themselves with all current accessibility criteria and specifications and the proposed plan reflects all site elements required by the applicable ADA design standards and guidelines as published by the United States Department of Justice. Approval of this plan by El Paso County does not assure compliance with the ADA or any regulations or guidelines enacted or promulgated under or with respect to such laws.
Floorplan
1. The floorplan does not show any detail as to how many kennels may be within the dog room. It also appears as though the scan got cut off.
Landscape Plan
1. It appears as though the scanner cut the page off. Please redo the plan based on the revised site development plan requested above. Please add a key to indicate the symbols.

The Black Forest Land Use Committee feels this request is in conformance with the Preservation Plan and recommends approval of the special use request.

We will leave it up to the neighbors to speak or write and make comments about how they feel regarding noise, smell or other potential problems with a dog kennel.
