Dear Lisa Elgin, I have attached a letter of support for Map Amendment File No. P253/Ford Rezone/4515 Ford Drive. I am writing to express support for the proposed rezoning of the two parcel numbers 6214000032 and 6214000097 and the corresponding map amendment (address of 4515 Ford Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80908). The requested rezoning is intended to accommodate a parcel line adjustment between the two parcels under common ownership - one 5 acre lot and the other one acre lot. The proposed change from RR-5 to RR2.5 would allow for the configuration of these parcels into two lots of three acres each. This adjustment would result in parcel sizes that are more consistent with the surrounding area. The existing one are parcel is not typical of the neighborhood's established pattern, and the proposed reconfiguration would promote greater compatibility with nearby properties.
