Description of Agricultural Exemption:
I am applying for an agricultural exemption for a barn that was already on the property we purchased in June 2020 that we were unaware didn’t have an exemption. It is being used to house our 3 goats and our horse. The south facing portion of the barn is open for the animals to have shelter. Inside the barn we have a tack room and a storage area that is currently used to store feed. The barn is 31'x23' with wood paneling, barn doors and roof. We would also like to add a shed/barn for additional animal feed/supply storage and goat housing. As we want the existing barn to house just our horse (adding another horse in the future) moving the goats to new shed. The shed would be 12'x40' with wood paneling (painted to match house). Inside it has two lofted areas to store the animal feed/supplies and the main area would be used as shelter. The barn will be ordered from Weather King taking approximately 3 months to arrive and be set in the location (see site plan).
