1. The structure and application do not meet all the requirements listed in 5.2.52 of the LDC. The structure is not considered a tiny house by the PCD Department. 2. The proof of construction method does not meet section 5.2.52 of the LDC. Please submit a letter by a licensed professional structural engineer certifying that, as a minimum, the unit and support structure has been designed in accordance with all applicable horizontal and vertical loads as required by the local authority having jurisdiction. 3. The application indicates that improvements are required in order to meet the minimum design standards. The tiny house must meet those standards at the time of approval. Making improvement after receiving approval would nullify the engineer letter referenced above. |
