Colorado Springs Airport Advisory Commission
4/25/2024 9:05:30 AM
This item was presented to the Airport Advisory Commission with no objections on 4/24/2024:

Airport staff recommends no objection with the following conditions:

• Avigation Easement: An avigation easement is requested or provide proof of previous recording (book/page or reception number). Add avigation easement note to plat.

• FAA Form 7460-1: If use of equipment (permanent or temporary) will exceed 170 feet above ground level in height at this site, the applicant is to file an airspace evaluation case with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and provide the results to the Airport before the commencement of construction activities. FAA’s website
(https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external/portal.jsp).

Avigation Easement Instructions:

1. Refer to your title work and/or the existing plat(s) to see if there is an existing avigation easement.

2. If nothing is existing, the City would prefer that you dedicate the avigation easement via your re/plat. Please ask your Planner or refer to Planning’s checklist for that dedication language.

3. If you are not re/platting, and to grant the City a new required avigation easement by separate instrument, please refer to Real Estate Services’ website at coloradosprings.gov/Departments/Real Estate Services, Required Easements, for a current Public Application Form and Instructions regarding the process. For questions, contact Barbara Reinardy, 719-385-5601, or Barbara.Reinardy@coloradosprings.gov.
To submit your paperwork (hand delivery or US Mail): 30 S. Nevada Ave., Ste. 502, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

The Cimarron Hills Fire Department (CHFD) has reviewed My Garage at Northcrest Project and is providing the following comments. This is a request for a review of fire department aerial ladder trucks requirements for a minimum turning radius due to the length of the apparatus, wheelbase, and steering capabilities. Identifying any potential challenges such as narrow streets, tight corners, low clearances, or obstacles that could impact the truck's turning radius or operational effectiveness. 4/17/2024 8:54:22 AM

El Paso County Parks and Community Services. The 2022 El Paso County Parks Master Plan shows no impacts to proposed or existing parks, trails, or open space. At this time, this commercial application will not require the assessment of regional park fees, however, possible changes to the EPC Land Development Code in 2024 may or may not change that fee status. 4/15/2024 2:45:14 PM
